Steel detailing, and extra capacity when your drawing office is full

Models, drawings and NC data for steel fabricators across the UK and Ireland, from a Hereford drawing office established in 2002.

Two ways to work with us

Additional Tekla capacity when your drawing office needs support, or complete steel detailing for whole projects.

A

Additional drawing office capacity

Additional Tekla capacity when your drawing office is full, while you are recruiting, or when several projects arrive at the same time.

We work in the version you run, in your template or ours. Take one package off your team, or a whole job.

B

Complete steel detailing

A full modelling and detailing service, from the engineer's drawings to the issued package.

We take on whole jobs, modelled and detailed in full in Tekla. The model is built the way your shop wants it.

How it works

  1. Send us the drawings

The engineer's drawings for the job.

  2. Price and programme

We come back with a price and the dates.

  3. Order

Your order, and the connection loads as early as you have them.

  4. We start

Usually within a week, sooner when there is room.

  5. The job: modelled, checked and issued in packages
  1. As we start

    Asked first

Before the model starts, we ring your drawing office or project lead and ask how you want it built.

  2. First couple of days

    Queries out early

RFIs go out in the first couple of days, so revisions are few.

  3. Through the job

    Changes turned round

Affected marks go on hold. Small changes are reissued the same day.

Questions we get asked

What do we get back, and in what format?
Everything is issued electronically: the drawings, NC data for hot-rolled steel, material schedules and bolt lists, and IFC models any shop can use. If you run Strumis, we can export the job into it.
Can you work in our Tekla template?
Yes. We work in the version of Tekla you run, in your template and your numbering. If you would rather we used ours, we will.
What steel do you detail?
Mainly hot-rolled frames, with the cold-rolled package that goes with them: sheeting rails and the other secondary steel.
Do we have to take on more than one job?
No. There is no onboarding. Send the drawings for one package, we come back with a price and the dates, and you decide from there.
Do you only work locally?
No. We work for fabricators across the UK and Ireland. Everything is issued electronically, so distance makes no difference to the job.
