We detailed the biomass conveyor system at Drax, with its supporting gantries and platforms. Drax was then the largest power station in Europe.
Drax sits beside the River Ouse near Selby, in North Yorkshire. Most of its generating units were converted from coal to biomass through the 2010s, and the last coal was burned there in 2021.
